Celebrating Black Philanthropy Month 2026

August 1, 2026

Central Carolina Community Foundation and the African American Philanthropy Committee are proud to celebrate the generosity, leadership, and collective impact of those strengthening communities across the Midlands.

Throughout August, we will recognize the philanthropists, community members, and nonprofits, including Black-Led Black-Benefitting organizations, whose time, talent, and treasure are creating meaningful change and inspiring others to give back. We’ll share stories of giving, service, and partnership that demonstrate the many ways philanthropy creates lasting change.

Join us all month long as we celebrate Black Philanthropy Month and show how generosity helps build stronger communities for everyone!
