Community Leadership

Leading the Way

Working across communities with many different partners, Central Carolina Community Foundation has become a connector and convenor. We use our knowledge of donors, nonprofit organizations, community-minded companies, and governments to bring people who share a vision to the same table. We facilitate their collaboration, so they can do more together.

These are some of the ways we’re leading collaboration for greater impact.

Listen and Learn

We engage residents, nonprots, donors, businesses, and public partners to understand the most pressing challenges and promising opportunities in our region. We use data, lived experience, and local expertise to inform our priorities.

Central Carolina Community Foundation and local artists are working together  to create a new exhibit space for visual artists from the Midlands. This initiative launched in 2005, with five artists displaying their work throughout the Foundation’s offices and meeting spaces, allowing new audiences to discover talented creators.

Convene and Connect

We bring together diverse voices — across race, geography, sector, and perspective — to foster collaboration and shared solutions. By creating space for dialogue and partnership, we help align eorts and amplify impact.

Operating under the Foundation’s fiscal sponsorship, this statewide organization brings together funders and philanthropic organizations to help members connect, learn, and take action. Our members include private foundations, corporate funders, community foundations, and other organizations that invest in the nonprofit sector.

Invest Strategically

Through targeted initiatives, competitive grants, impact investments, and donor partnerships, we direct resources toward long-term, systemic change — not just short-term relief.
