Artificial intelligence is transforming how organizations work, serve their communities, and make decisions. At Central Carolina Community Foundation, we believe AI should be a tool that strengthens mission, expands capacity, and creates more equitable outcomes.
Building on a landmark Google.org investment, we are helping nonprofits and grantmakers across South Carolina embrace artificial intelligence through practical training, peer learning, and strategic partnerships that strengthen their work and prepare them for the future.
Our work focuses on three key areas:
We help organizations build the knowledge, skills, and infrastructure needed to adopt AI effectively through training, technical assistance, peer learning, and implementation support.
We work with funders and nonprofits to reduce administrative burden by rethinking grantmaking, reporting, and operational processes so organizations can spend less time on paperwork and more time advancing their missions.
We support responsible AI adoption by helping organizations navigate privacy, governance, ethics, and the broader impacts AI will have on the nonprofit sector and the communities it serves.
