Girl, Get Up Society is working to make mental health care and supportive resources more accessible to women and girls across South Carolina. Serving women and girls ages 13 and older, the organization provides access to therapy, self-care, and support services designed to help them navigate difficult circumstances and strengthen their overall well-being.
In the Midlands, Girl, Get Up Society has continued to grow its reach while building connections that support its work. The organization has participated in past Midlands Gives events and was part of Central Carolina Community Foundation’s Google AI Opportunity Accelerator cohort. In fiscal year 2025, they also received a Multi-Year General Operating Support Grant and are continuing into year two of the Jumpstart Grant program, helping strengthen their organizational and fundraising capacity.
At the center of Girl, Get Up Society’s work is a commitment to ensuring women and girls have somewhere to turn when they need care and support to foster hope, healing, and happiness. By connecting them with mental health services, self-care resources and a network of support, they are helping women and girls across South Carolina access the tools and care they need to support their mental and emotional well-being.
