The Midlands came together to support local nonprofits for the 12th annual Midlands Gives Day, raising $3.7 million, making the total amount raised for Midlands Gives over $32.4 million since the event started in 2014. Midlands Gives is a platform for giving and provides an opportunity for people to learn about nonprofits in our community. This year, 10,568 individuals gave a total of 17,066 donations to 580 nonprofits.
“Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, Midlands nonprofits woke up today with over $3.7 million more than yesterday—resources that will feed families, shelter animals, support the arts, and uplift our neighbors across 11 counties,” said Erin Johnson, Vice President of Community Investment at Central Carolina Community Foundation. “Together, we’re building a stronger, more compassionate Midlands for everyone.”
“Midlands Gives has become a tradition of generosity that grows stronger every year. Yesterday wasn’t just about dollars—it was about people coming together to invest in a better future for our local communities,” said Georgia Mjartan, President & CEO of Central Carolina Community Foundation.
This year, $108,000 in prize incentives was provided by Central Carolina Community Foundation and our generous In Good Company Partners — including Aflac, BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, Southeastern Freight Lines, Truist, Nelson Mullins, M.B. Kahn, Schmoyer & Company, Columbia Fireflies, Elliott Davis, First Reliance Bank, guHRoo, Ogletree Deakins, Purpose Equity, Synovus, and Williams & Roche. These contributions amplified donations, making every gift go even further. To see a complete list of prize winners, visit MidlandsGives.org/prize-winners.

These funds helped power donations to local nonprofits, bringing even more community support to organizations making a difference in every corner of the Midlands. Central Carolina Community Foundation is the backbone organization for these four geographically focused funds.
