We offer a variety of funds for individuals, families, businesses, and community organizations. Our staff can discuss these options with you and help you select the fund that matches your charitable giving priorities and financial goals
With one donation–and only one tax receipt–you can recommend grants to various charitable organizations. When you contribute cash, securities, or other assets, you are generally eligible for an immediate tax deduction. Funds can be invested for tax-free growth and can be endowed or non-endowed. The minimum to establish a Donor Advised Fund is $10,000
You can choose one or several organizations to receive grants automatically from this type of fund every year in perpetuity. A hands-off approach to giving, the foundation manages the fund and distributes your grants. The minimum to establish a Designated Fund is $10,000.
With this fund, you support community needs by focusing on an area of interest such as the arts, education, human services, or youth. Grants are distributed through a competitive process managed by the foundation. The minimum to establish a Field-of-Interest Fund is $10,000.
You provide high school seniors and college students the opportunity to pursue their dreams while achieving your own charitable goals. Many scholarship funds are set up in honor of or in memory of loved ones. The minimum to establish an endowed Scholarship Fund is $100,000.
Specifically for nonprofit organizations, Central Carolina Community Foundation provides a simple way to establish a fund that provides a source of revenue. The organization can withdraw money throughout the fiscal year or leave their dollars invested, where they will continue to grow. The minimum to establish a Nonprofit Fund is $50,000.
Corporations can establish a fund to respond to community needs. Grants that align with the corporation’s philanthropic goals are awarded to nonprofits. The Foundation manages the competitive application process. The minimum is based on criteria of the specific fund.
You can include Central Carolina Community Foundation as the beneficiary of your will or trust through a Legacy Fund. By joining our Legacy Society through a bequest or estate plan, you can preserve cash during your lifetime and support causes you care about in perpetuity
