The Sumter Community Foundation connects donors and community partners committed to strengthening Sumter County. Grants support nonprofit organizations addressing community needs and expanding opportunities for residents.
Guided by a local advisory board, the Sumter Community Foundation works through Central Carolina Community Foundation to invest in organizations doing meaningful work throughout Sumter County.
Grants address a broad range of charitable needs within Sumter County, including projects and programs that improve quality of life, build nonprofit capacity, and respond to community priorities identified by local leaders.
Organizations must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or other eligible charitable organization
Programs and projects must primarily benefit residents of Sumter County
Applicants must meet all general Central Carolina Community Foundation grant eligibility requirements
