This renewable scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors or current undergraduate students whose permanent address is in the Community Foundation's 11-county service area (Calhoun, Clarendon, Fairfield, Kershaw, Lee, Lexington, Newberry, Orangeburg, Richland, Saluda, and Sumter). Applicants must be enrolled in a two- or four-year degree undergraduate program in the upcoming Fall semester at an accredited nonprofit university or technical college located in the 11-county service area. Applicants need to be first-generation college students (as defined by the TRIO program) and have financial need. Applicants must demonstrate involvement with the community via volunteerism, community groups, or employment.

Applicants must be graduating seniors from a public high school in Sumter County, South Carolina with a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Applicants must attend either Clemson University or the University of South Carolina (Columbia) as a full-time student and pursue a degree in accounting, business administration, computer science, education (teaching), engineering, math, or other traditional sciences. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

Applicants must be from a county within the Foundation's 11-county service area and major in any of the following: Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Psychology, or Sociology. Eligible applicants may be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree; preference will be given to undergraduate level students. The GPA minimum for this scholarship is a 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.

Preference will be given to applicants graduating, or already graduated, from Dreher High School in Columbia, South Carolina. However, students from the Foundation's 11-county service area may apply. Preference will also be given to graduating high school seniors and those planning to become K-12 teachers. The minimum GPA requirement is 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

This renewable scholarship is for students graduating from a high school in Sumter County, South Carolina. The minimum GPA requirement is 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Preference for this scholarship is given to qualified employees of the former Carolina Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Sumter or a legal dependent of a qualified employee. If no such students are eligible, the scholarship may be awarded to a student in Sumter County who meets all other criteria.
