In response to the widespread devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, over $6 million has been contributed to the One SC Fund at Central Carolina Community Foundation, including a $3 million grant from The Duke Endowment. The One SC Fund provides financial support to nonprofits responding to Hurricane Helene in the South Carolina counties with an individual assistance disaster declaration from FEMA.
The One SC Fund is South Carolina’s statewide philanthropic response to natural disasters, supported by corporate donors, individuals, and foundations from across the state and country.
We want to recognize and thank the generous donors who have contributed to the One SC Fund to support Hurricane Helene relief efforts for local nonprofits.
Since activating the fund on October 1, 2024, the following corporate and foundation commitments have been made, in addition to more than $250,000 given by individual donors.
