Katherine K. Greiner Scholarship

$0.00

This renewable scholarship was established to support students who plan to become elementary, middle, or high school teachers. Preference will be given to applicants graduating, or already graduated, from Dreher High School in Columbia, South Carolina. However, students from the Foundation's 11-county service area may apply. Preference will also be given to graduating high school seniors and those planning to become K-12 teachers. The minimum GPA requirement is 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

LinkScholars Program Scholarship

This renewable scholarship supports graduating high school seniors from Fairfield, Kershaw, Lexington, Richland, or Sumter counties in South Carolina. Preference will be given to African American students. The minimum GPA requirement is a 2.8 on a 4.0 scale and applicants must be entering their freshman year at an institution of higher learning in South Carolina or at a Historically Black College or University in any state. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

Mae and Wilbur Fulmer Scholarship

$2,000.00

This renewable scholarship supports students who will graduate from a high school located in Chapin, South Carolina. Applicants must be members, or children of members, of Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church. Applicants must be entering their freshman year at an institution of higher learning in South Carolina.

Milford H. Wessinger Scholarship

$2,000.00

This renewable scholarship is available to graduating seniors or graduates of a high school in Lexington County, South Carolina. Applicants must plan to attend an institution of higher learning that is a college, university, or technical school in South Carolina. The minimum GPA requirement is a 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants must demonstrate community service, character, and motivation.

Pierce/Zimmerman Scholarship

$3,100.00

This renewable scholarship is for undergraduate students or graduating high school seniors planning to attend South Carolina State University, Claflin University, or Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College. Applicants must major in Computer Science, Engineering, or Math and have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants should have a high level of school and community involvement as demonstrated by participation in extracurricular activities. Preference will be given to students who are legal dependents of a qualified employee of the Facilities Management Division of South Carolina State University, Claflin University, or Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College.

R. Gettone and T. Linder Scholarship for Communities In Schools of the Midlands

$2,000.00

This non-renewable scholarship is available to graduating seniors enrolled in a Communities In Schools of the Midlands program. Preference is given to applicants who show leadership potential. Applicants receiving a scholarship may attend an undergraduate college, university, trade, or vocational school.

Rogers and Meredith Scholarship (College)

$4,000.00

This renewable scholarship is available to students who have been residents of Epworth Children's Home, Thornwell Home for Children, or students who've been in custody of the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice. Qualified applicants must be one of the following: a senior in high school, a high school graduate planning to enter college in the fall, or a student currently attending a college, university, or technical school. The minimum GPA requirement is a 2.25 on a 4.0 scale.

Rogers and Meredith Scholarship (Glenforest)

$1,700.00

This non-renewable scholarship is open to all Elementary, Middle and High School students (grades K-12) with financial need who have been accepted to attend Glenforest School in Columbia, South Carolina.

Sonoco Scholarship

$2,500.00

This renewable scholarship is for dependents of qualified Sonoco employees of U.S. domestic facilities. Dependent children, stepchildren, and legal wards of active, retired, disabled, or deceased company employees are eligible to apply, except children of officers of the company. Applicants must be high school seniors. Employees/parents must have at least one year of continuous, full-time employment with the company as of January 1 of the year the scholarship is to be awarded. Scholarships are available for students earning bachelor degrees, associates degrees, and trade certifications at an accredited college, university, or vocational or technical school.
